Bestselling Author Visits Campus

On Feb. 28, for the eighth consecutive year, Ottawa University hosted the Hostetter-DeFries Family Endowed Cultural Event. As part of the festivities, New York Times bestselling author Sena Jeter Naslund was brought to campus for two days full of meet and greet activities with the student body, faculty and town members.

Trial of Krystiniak's Death Begins With Testimony

On Tuesday Feb. 12 in a probable cause hearing, none of the witnesses called to testify could say who delivered the punches that led to Jonathan Krystiniak's death. Prosecutors charged six teens with second-degree murder and manslaughter. If any were convicted they face up to life in prison.
