General Information
The Campus student newspaper serves the Ottawa University community by keeping its members informed of news, events and activities. Established in 1886, The Campus is the oldest student newspaper in Kansas. The newspaper is operated by students at OU and is used as a teaching tool for the Communication Studies department. It is distributed bi-weekly on the Ottawa University-Ottawa campus, at select businesses in the Ottawa community and via the internet. The Campus is printed by the The Ottawa Herald.
The Campus is operated as a public forum for information and opinion serving the students and the greater Ottawa University community. Toward this end, the student media will further the free exchange of ideas on the Ottawa University campus. Ideas expressed in letters to the editor and online message boards do not necessarly reflect the views of the staff.
